Basava Philosophy Research Foundation is dedicated to advancing the principles of Basaveshwara, focusing on values like Kaayaka (meaningful work), Daasoha (sharing knowledge), equality, and women empowerment.
Through initiatives like Kaayaka AI Mantapa, the foundation brings together AI, research, and community to apply these timeless ideas to modern societal challenges.
Role Description
We’re looking for passionate volunteers to join us at the intersection of AI, research, and philosophy. We are currently building research projects that can lead towards Ph.D.-level work, and are looking for committed individuals who are serious about research and long-term impact.
We’re proud to share that our foundation is supported by Google, with access to Ad Grants, Workspace, and potential Cloud credits.
What you’ll work on:
• AI research (Agentic AI, RAG, AI Safety, etc.)
• Research documentation & proposals
• Knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Outreach for collaborations & grants
What you’ll get:
