Basava Philosophy Research Foundation Inc. Hosts Meet-Up on “Incorporating Social Responsibility in Generative AI Models” Hacker Dojo, Mountain View, CA | February 14, 2026

Basava Philosophy Research Foundation Inc. (BPRF), a California-registered non-profit organization dedicated to advancing Basava Philosophy for social prosperity, successfully hosted a thought-provoking Meet-Up on February 14, 2026, at Hacker Dojo, Mountain View, California.

The session, titled Incorporating Social Responsibility in Generative AI Models,” brought together AI professionals, industry veterans, researchers, and community members to engage in meaningful dialogue on the ethical and societal implications of rapidly evolving AI technologies.

The event commenced with a welcome address by the main host Mrs. Vidyangi Patil, She is a Silicon Valley–based founder and podcast host known for fostering high-credibility conversations and meaningful engagement with C-suite leaders and innovators. followed by an introduction to the Foundation’s mission and activities by the Secretary Mr. Prashanth Patil, who is a Manufacturing Test Engineer at Meta with extensive experience in test engineering and hardware validation, previously contributing for over nine years at Amazon Lab. Then Mr. Vikas Rana has spoken about reflections,  is an Engineering Manager and Vice President at Wellington Management with over 24 years of experience in investment management, specializing in data engineering, cloud architecture, and AWS and Kubernetes technologies. The audience was provided with an overview of BPRF’s core focus areas, including Kaayaka (devoted work culture and innovation for job creation), one of the Unit of BPRF, Daasoha (respectful sharing of food and knowledge), Equality and Empowerment.

The Mantapa Convener then formally opened the session and set the context for the discussion, highlighting the growing importance of accountability, fairness, and inclusivity in Generative AI systems. The keynote presentations were delivered by distinguished speakers, Dr. Basavaraj Patil,  is a serial AI entrepreneur and Chief AI Architect at Predictive Research Inc., with over 18 years of experience building and scaling AI-driven companies from inception to successful and Daniel Barbatti, who is an IT veteran with over 40 years of experience, including three decades at AT&T, now specializing in applying Machine Learning to enterprise IT systems and mission-critical applications. who shared valuable insights on the ethical frameworks, technical challenges, and social responsibilities associated with AI model development and deployment. Their presentations sparked thoughtful engagement and interactive discussion among attendees.

The session featured an engaging Q&A segment, followed by reflections and short remarks from registered participants and community members. These reflections enriched the dialogue by offering diverse perspectives on responsible innovation and social impact.

The Meet-Up concluded with a closing summary by the Mantapa Convener, Mr. Veeresha Javli, who brings over 25 years of global leadership experience in product innovation, digital transformation, and AI-driven enterprise solutions, guiding meaningful dialogue and principled action, emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue, collaborative learning, and principled leadership in shaping the future of AI. A formal vote of thanks was delivered by the Secretary, Mr. Prashanth, expressing gratitude to the Foundation’s leadership, speakers, participants, and the dedicated organizing team whose efforts ensured the event’s success.
